Class 9 graduatesThe Madison Fire Department celebrates the graduation of Recruit Class 9 and welcomes our newest members to the field!

Class 9 brings a variety of valuable skills and experience to the department. Prior to joining the MFD, these recruits were employed as nurses, coaches, educators, and sales associates, to name a few. Many have given their time to their community through volunteering. Some bring multilingual skills, including French and American Sign Language.

These graduates have been assigned to fire stations across the city and began serving effective Sunday, December 22, 2019. Some continue to pursue Emergency Medical Technician certification and licensing through MFD’s EMS Academy.

Please join us in welcoming Class 9 to our ranks!
