Halloween only comes around once a year, and the firefighters of Station 3 were ready to celebrate with their east side neighbors!

Engine 3 led the Halloween parade for the Yahara Park neighborhood and stuck around for the party that followed. Firefighters and their costumed neighbors were excited to spend the evening together on the chilly October evening.

A short while later, Engine 3 went around the neighborhoods near their Willy Street fire station and handed out candy to trick-or-treaters.

“It was a great time,” reports Station 3 B-shift lieutenant Chris Homman. “We saw some very cool costumes and had a ton of fun.”

Engine 3 just had to stop in and check out this well decorated front porch.  The owner thought it was great to see the Fire Department out visiting with the trick-or-treaters and their families.
