Attendees watch a CPR demo video together

As summer break begins to wind down, it's time to get in the "back to school" spirit! Now is the perfect time to sign up for one of our FREE community CPR/AED classes.

Six new classes are now available in September, October, and November with locations on the east side, west side, and downtown.

When someone experiences sudden cardiac arrest, their chances of survival increase significantly if bystanders perform CPR until first responders arrive.

The members of the Madison Fire Department want you to know what to do if you find someone in cardiac arrest.

Click the dates below to register for our FREE community CPR/AED class:

During this class, you'll learn the basics and benefits of hands-only CPR. Our paramedics and EMTs will also teach you how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED).

Each class is 90 minutes long. People ages 12 and older are invited to register. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

This is a non-certification course; you do not need to be CPR-certified to help save a life! However, Red Cross-certified courses are available in our area.

We look forward to seeing you!
