For several years, knowing when to set out leaves and yard waste for collection was tricky. You had to consult a color-coded map every day, or call a hotline for collection estimates, and then hope the pickup opportunities coincided with your ability to rake. Things have gotten much better this year.

All neighborhoods have assigned days on when they should set their leaves out for collection. Go to

and enter your address into the form at the top of the page.

Next, you will see three dates. These are the days when you should set out the leaves and yard waste for curbside pickup.  I've used the site to check out my neighborhood collections and it works great.  Make sure you keep your leaves out of the streets and out of the lakes and happy raking!
