In the past few months, Fleet has added two new dedicated employees Ian and Matt, in order to fulfill our automotive needs.

Ian Jones

Ian Jones
Ian is a Fleet Technician who works on heavy-duty vehicles. He joined us with two and a half years of experience working with Kayser Ford in the truck department. One thing that surprised Ian was the scope of what we work on. He works on a variety of vehicles, anything from lawn mowers to ginormous garbage trucks. Outside of work, Ian is a big sports enthusiast, his favorites being the Chicago-based teams (except the Cubs). He enjoys sports such as soccer, golf, and snowboarding in the winter. His favorite thing about working at Fleet is seeing the vehicles that he works on in use in the community. One rewarding thing about working for the City is seeing the impact of our hard work in the community.

Matt Beluli
Matt is also a new Fleet Technician. He joined us with over three years of experience working with Wilde East Towne Honda and seven years of experience working with Zimbrick Nissan. He is now working on heavy-duty vehicles such as garbage trucks and snow removal vehicles. He mostly works on preventative maintenance for these vehicles to help ensure that city vehicles are in working condition. Matt also works to solve other vehicle issues by completing tasks such as A/C repairs, brake replacements, and tire replacements.

We’re happy to have Ian, and Matt as part of the team, and we are excited to see what the future holds!
