Midtown Police District achieved LEED NCv3 GOLD certification

Q2 2018 Project Update: The building was topped out, is weather tight and exterior openings were completed and secure. Site utilities were installed and the site is final graded for flat work and landscaping. All rough ins were completed. The roof mounted solar PV system was installed. Interior finishes were started and will progress through the end of July. The critical item to keep the project on schedule is the installation of permanent power in early July. The project continues to be on budget and on track for the police department to be operational in the building by late-August 2018.

Q1 2018 Project Update: Substantial progress has been made over the past 3 months including: completion of foundation, completion of exterior wall steel, completion of structural steel, completion of floors, near completion of the roof and completion of below grade exterior utilities. Activities currently include finishing the roof, exterior wall sheathing/insulation/air barrier, interior wall framing, and rough in of mechanical/electrical/plumbing. Drywall will start to be installed in late April. No significant cost changes have been encountered to date and the project continues to be on track for the department to move in mid-August 2018.

Q4 2017 Project Update: Foundation work was delayed a couple of weeks due to shortages of iron workers, but the overall project is on schedule.
