Overtime Opportunity - Inspection Compliance
ATTN: ALL SHOP EMPLOYEES, INCLUDING SERVICE WORKERS, DISPATCHERS AND PARTS PERSONNEL
The Metro Maintenance Management Team has developed a plan to re-establish and maintain inspection compliance. This goal will also bring inspections back to a manageable level by keeping them on time, and allow us to meet our monthly requirements.
Beginning this weekend (1/13/2023 - 1/15/2023), we will offer overtime for all mechanics and service workers on all shifts, dispatchers on 3rd shift, and parts staff for 1st shift, EVERY weekend, Friday – Sunday, for Inspections until further notice.
Service worker staff will be steaming engines and also performing lane work.
For these weekends, you must commit to at least a 4 hour shift, and you must tell the supervisor on staff the day before, what your intended shift is, if you are not working it in its entirety.
