License Renewals
Invoice
City of Madison alcohol license renewal invoices for the 2022-2023 licensing year are sent in mid-May. Invoices for license renewal for your non-alcohol City of Madison and/or Dane County business license(s) are sent at the end of May. If you have any unpaid renewal fees from last licensing year, you will see those fees on the invoice under the header for the 2021-2022 Licensing Fees in Arrears. Return the original invoice tear-off and payment in the enclosed envelope to ensure that payment is applied to the correct license(s).
If you will not be renewing a license, please notify us at licensing@cityofmadison.com.
