Guidance updated January 12, 2023.

Effective January 1, 2023, the City will no longer be tracking employee vaccination status. This means that:

  • New employees will not be required to show proof of vaccinations status upon employment. Some specific positions will require various vaccinations due to the potential for contact with communicable disease.
  • Employees will no longer be required to submit updated attestation forms when they receive their vaccinations or boosters.
  • Employees should continue to prioritize getting vaccinations and updated boosters. Effective January 1, 2023, employees who need time away to get vaccinations and boosters need to use accrued leave (EPL, sick leave, vacation, or comp time), in order to do so.
