Permanent employees must sign up for training within 45 days of hire or promotion.

Additionally, every three years, each City of Madison employee must attend APM 3-5 training. Mandatory Reporters may not attend regular employee trainings, instead, they must attend mandatory reporting training. Mandatory Reporters include lead workers, supervisors, managers, and department heads.
