The 2022 trash and recycling calendar for the Streets Division collections is now available.

This calendar provides the trash and recycling collection dates of 2022 for January through the end of July.

How to Get the Calendar
The calendar for your home is available on the Streets Division’s website.

Go to www.cityofmadison.com/CollectionSchedule.

Enter your address into the form and a new tab should open in your web browser. You will need to scroll down to see the 2022 calendar year.

Residents can also contact the Streets Division office that services your home to receive a calendar in the mail. If you live east of South Park Street, please call 608-246-4532. If you live west of South Park Street, please call 608-266-4681.

Why Does the Collection Calendar Stop in July?
In anticipation of the Town of Madison attachment, the Streets Division re-designed the boundaries of some of the trash and recycling districts.

The Streets Division will begin using the new districts on August 1, 2022.

The new districts will change the collection date of trash and recycling for some residents.

In the summer of 2022, a new collection calendar will be available for the final four months of the year and for the entirety of 2023.

Large Item Work Orders Continue for 2022
The Streets Division is no longer providing every-other-week large item collection. This change began in June 2021.

Residents who need large item collection must submit a work order in advance of the collection at www.cityofmadison.com/LargeItemWorkOrder.
