Youth Mock Election July 20
The City of Madison Clerk’s Office is hosting a mock election for children to learn about the voting process firsthand through a reading themed election.
The youth election will be held on Wednesday, July 20, at the Madison Central Library from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in conjunction with their Summer Carnival. All children are encouraged to come and vote on their favorite characters and animals from age relevant literature. There will also be a vote on Bucky Badger’s favorite book!

Children will be able to create their own artistic forms of Voter ID, sign a poll book, and vote using our official election equipment. Each child who votes will receive a coveted “I Voted” sticker.
