Voters checking https://MyVote.wi.gov this morning will not see a record of their participation in the November 8 General Election.

Voter participation records are updated manually as the City Clerk's Office processes Election Day voter registrations and scans the barcode next to each voter's name on the poll book.

Your ballot is counted when the tabulator at your polling location displays the message, "Thank you for voting."  Your voter participation is updated in the state's voter registration system up to 45 days later.

Madison had a turnout of 150,880 voters for the November 2016 election, which was 77.6% of pre-registered voters.  In November 2012, 150,437 Madison residents voted.
