Voters in Ward 29 on Madison’s east side will be able to vote until 9:00 p.m. this evening because of a fire alarm at East High School earlier today. Due to concerns that the alarm prevented some residents from voting, City officials have received approval from Branch 16 Judge Rhonda Lanford to keep the polls open there until 9:00 this evening. Judge Lanford’s assistance is appreciated.

All other polling locations in the City will close at 8:00 p.m. Voters who are in line at 8:00 will be allowed to cast their ballot.
