City of Madison voters set a new record Friday for the number of absentee ballots cast in-person for a non-presidential February Primary.

As of Friday night, 849 Madison residents had voted absentee at Madison Public Library locations, the City Clerk’s Office or Streets East.  In-person absentee voting continues through Sunday, February, 19, and expands to the UW-Madison Student Activity Center and Edgewood College Predolin Commons this week.

A federal court ruling by Judge James Peterson last year allowed municipalities to offer absentee voting at more than one location.
