City of Madison voters may cast an absentee ballot in the City Clerk's Office at the following times this weekend:

• 8 a.m. - 2 p.m., Saturday May 26
• Noon - 4 p.m., Sunday, May 27
• 9 a.m. - Noon, Memorial Day - Monday, May 28

Voters should use the Wilson Street entrance to the City-County Building and take the elevator to the first floor when voting on the weekend.

As of 2 p.m. Friday, May 25, the Madison City Clerk's Office has issued 10,030 absentee ballots for the June 5 recall election. For the November 2010 gubernatorial election, the City Clerk's Office issued a total of 12,121 absentee ballots.

Voters can check the status of their absentee ballot requests through the Voter Public Access website, https://vpa.wi.gov.
