The City of Madison has issued 15,590 absentee ballots for the November election, including 8,812 absentee ballots issued to voters in the City Clerk’s Office.

For comparison, the City Clerk’s Office issued 12,121 absentee ballots for the November 2010 election, including 5,550 absentee ballots issued to voters in the Clerk’s Office.

Absentee voting has ended in the Clerk’s Office and through the mail, but voters who are hospitalized may still receive an absentee ballot.
 
There are 1,695 absentee ballots that still need to be returned to the City Clerk’s Office.  These outstanding absentees will be counted as long as they are postmarked no later than Election Day, and are delivered to the City Clerk’s Office through the mail by 4 p.m. Friday, November 7.
 
All polling places will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 4.  Photo ID is not required for the November election.  To find your polling place, visit www.cityofmadison.com/WhereDoIVote.
