As Veteran’s Day 2020 approaches, the Madison Senior Center would like to show our veterans how truly grateful we are for their service.

“The willingness of America’s veterans to sacrifice for our country has earned them our lasting gratitude.” - Jeff Miller

It has now been 75 years since WWII ended, 70 years since the Korean War began, and 30 years since the end of the Panama Invasion and the beginning of Desert Shield. However, we know that veterans don’t only serve our country when in active duty. Our veterans protect the values and liberties this nation was built on each and every day.

In 2020, veterans make up about 5.5% of the total U.S. population and 7.2% of Wisconsin’s population.

We’ll never forget your sacrifice. THANK YOU, VETERANS!
