There will be a no refuse and recycling collection on Thursday November 26th and Friday November 27th due to the Thanksgiving holiday.  Residents in the Thursday refuse collection district will have their refuse and recycling collected on Wednesday November 25th, the day before Thanksgiving.  Residents in the Friday collection district will have their material collected on Monday November 30th, the first working day after holiday.
 
     Residents should be sure to consult their collection calendars to determine if their recyclables are scheduled for collection Thanksgiving week.
 
          
Yard Waste Sites Closed November 26th and 27th Summer Hours End Sunday December 6th
 
     City of Madison Yard Waste Drop Off Sites will be closed on Thursday November 26th and Friday November 27th. The sites will reopen on Saturday November 28th. The sites will be open on Saturday November 28th and Sunday November 30th from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
 
     The Yard Waste Sites will be open regular hours the week of November 30th, 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. and until 8 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday.  The sites will end summer hours at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday December 8th.
 
     Starting Monday December 7th, the Streets Division’s regular drop off sites at 1501 W. Badger Rd and 4602 Sycamore AV will be open winter hours M-F from 7:30 a.m. until 3 p.m.  The site at 402 South Point Rd will close for the season at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday December 6th.
