Cherokee Marsh South Volunteer Workday

Madison Parks is seeking volunteers in conservation to assist in seed collection in Cherokee Marsh Conservation Park, South Unit. Participants will learn native plant identification and proper seed collection methods. Some gloves and paper bags are provided, but feel free to bring your own. Seeds collected will be used to restore areas within Madison's conservation parks. Bring water and wear closed-toe shoes. No restrooms onsite.
MEETING LOCATION: 802 Wheeler Road
The event is ideal for ages 10 years and older when accompanied by an adult. You may want to bring water (no water or restrooms onsite) and please wear appropriate clothing and shoes/boots for the day.
