Event specifics

On Tuesday, June 24th, 2008 at 10:00AM, a press conference will be held at the Warner Park Community Recreation Center located at 1625 Northport Drive. The purpose of this event is to educate the community on the specifics of Rhythm & Booms 2008. As one might imagine, an event such as Rhythm & Booms can and will have major impacts on the City of Madison and all of its residents. This is an opportunity to streamline work processes by numerous agencies such as Parks, Traffic Engineering, Metro Bus, Police, Fire, and Dane County Emergency Management. All of these agencies, and many more, have been planning internally for Rhythm & Booms over the course of this year and last minute details are being finalized. This event has been termed as the Midwest's largest (and best) fireworks show and one of the safest events in the nation. In keeping with an annual tradition, the information session is directly pointed at continuing the successes of the past and making improvements that create positive experiences for every citizen and visitor alike. It is our expectation that Rhythm and Booms 2008 will be more enjoyable than ever.
