Portage Road will be closed from Hanson Road to I-39/I-90/I-94, starting Monday, March 10, 2008 to August 15, 2008. WisDOT will also be closing the Hanson Road Bridge over I-39/I-90/I-94 during this time period.

In addition, there will -be construction on Hanson Road from approximately one-half mile east of Manufacturer's Drive to Portage Road, from March 10, 2008 to August 15, 2008. This segment of Hanson Road will be completely closed for one month (30 days) during this time period. Except for this one month of complete closure, Hanson Road will be open to traffic and will provide access to Portage Road, but lanes will be restricted and drivers should expect delays. Users of these road segments are advised to find alternate routes.

Additional construction, later this summer and fall, is planned for Portage Road between Diloretto Avenue and Hanson Road. Currently, this later project is planned to begin in August 2008 and last until October 2008.
