Warner Park Stadium Reconstruction
On January 2, 2008 the City of Madison received a report from Eppstein Uhen Architects on the feasibility, conceptual design and cost estimate for the proposed Stadium Reconstruction at Warner Park.

TWO Meetings have been scheduled to discuss the proposed new stadium for Warner Park and the Madison Mallards:

Tuesday, January 15, 2008, 6:30 PM at the Warner Park Community Recreation Center

Tuesday, January 29, 2008, 6:30 PM at the Warner Park Community Recreation Center

The Madison Parks Division and Alders Satya Rhodes-Conway (District 12) and Michael Schumacher (District 18) are inviting the public to attend these two meetings to discuss the proposed new stadium at Warner Park. The new stadium has been under discussion for the past couple of years, and has been the subject of an ad hoc committee study for which a public listening session was held in January, 2007.

The City and the Mallards allocated money for a detailed feasibility study and cost estimate that was completed by Eppstein Uhen Architects and presented to the City Parks Division on January 2, 2008. The results of that study will be discussed and considered at these public meetings. The public meetings will also review and address community concerns that were raised at earlier public meetings held by the ad hoc committee.

The Park Commission will receive the Architect's report at its January 9 meeting.
The design of the stadium has also been submitted to the City's Urban Design Commission, for their review and comment.
