Madison Parks is offering a number of events this weekend beginning with Groove & Glide at Westmorland on Friday night. Select ice rinks are opening today with staffed shelters at Tenney (3-9) and Vilas (4-8). All trails are open and Elver shelter is staffed 4-8pm today. Yahara Hills and Odana Hills clubhouses will be open Saturday and Sunday, 8:30am to 4pm. We anticipate changing conditions with predicted snow Friday/Saturday. Please see the website for the latest.

GROOVE & GLIDE - Friday
Lace-up your ice skates for an evening of fun Friday, January 17 at Westmorland Park! We’ll have music, games and prizes and a limited selection of ice skates to borrow. All ages and experience levels are welcome at this FREE event. LEARN MORE

CANDLELIT SNOWSHOE HIKE - Saturday
Hundreds of softly glowing lights illuminate the trails in Edna Taylor Conservation Park, Monona's Woodland Park and the Aldo Leopold Nature Center on Saturday, January 18. See parking and event tips HERE.

BIRD & NATURE OUTINGS - Saturday and Sunday
Enjoy a fun winter nature outing walking and sledding. Meet near the bottom of the Olbrich Park sledding hill on Saturday, January 18 at 10am. On Sunday, January 19 meet us at Warner Park to learn how animals survive the cold. LEARN MORE
