Warner Park Community Recreation Center is celebrating 20 years on Friday, October 11 with a Party Like It's 1999 and everyone is invited!

The celebration begins with a pancake breakfast sponsored by the Original Pancake House and the party continues all-day with free activities, entertainment, drop-in classes and more. The festivities culminate with free admission to the Family Fun Night and a presentation at 5:00pm with Madison Mayor Satya Rhodes-Conway, Dane County Supervisor and original Northside Planning Council member, Paul Rusk and NewBridge Fund Development Director Jim Krueger.

Located on the northeast side of Madison, the Warner Park Community Recreation Center works to build community, foster fellowship and create a safe place for youth to gather. The center is a multi-purpose facility for recreational, educational and cultural programs and events and includes a gymnasium, exercise room, game room, art room, meeting rooms and a community room. 

The KNOW (Kids Need Opportunities at Warner) program provides meaningful opportunities for youth to gather. Programs such as Teen Night, Family Fun Night and the 3ON3 Basketball Tournament Series along with daily open gyms, are the cornerstone of the WPCRC.

To date, the Madison Parks Foundation has raised more than $70,000 for the Say Yes to Know campaign, including a matching gift of $39,000. Over the next 5 years, the Foundation is committed to raising $150,000 for this important program and continues to seek donations from the community.
