The Jenifer Street reconstruction project is expected to be completed later this week with the installation of street signs.  All streets within the project area are currently open to traffic.  
 
The high-friction, red-colored crosswalks that were planned with the reconstruction project will be installed next spring as warmer temperatures are needed for installation.   
 
Metro Transit will return to service on Jenifer Street beginning Monday, October 31st.  The current detour can be seen here.
 
Traffic movement from the Jenifer Street cul-de-sac to Williamson Street, which was temporarily allowed during construction, is once again restricted to only allow Metro Transit buses to make that traffic movement.
