Starting 6:00 a.m. on Monday, November 13, John Nolen Drive will be reduced to one lane, in each direction, at all times for several projects within the Monona Terrace tunnel, including storm water piping replacement and fire alarm electrical work on the ceiling of the Monona Terrace tunnel, and concrete repairs to the parking structure.   The work is expected to be completed by Friday, December 22.

Due to the nature of the work taking place on the underside of the tunnel above the traffic lanes and the required traffic control, traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction at all times, resulting in daily peak-hour traffic congestion.  Drivers should use alternate routes or plan for extra travel time.

This work has been coordinated to begin following the reopening of South Broom Street and West Wilson Street, which are scheduled to be fully reopened to traffic by Thursday, November 9.
