Madison has enjoyed the longest ice skating season in recent memory. But due to this past weekend's rain and warm temperatures, the ice rinks conditions deteroriated to the point that it has become necessary to close down the ice rink maintenance for the season.

Ski Trail maintenance, however, will continue as long as conditions allow. In order to groom the trails, staff needs 3-4 inches of new snow. The conditions on the trails are quite icy.
