METRO TRANSIT AND THE UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN-MADISON
UNVEIL WISCONSIN'S FIRST HYBRID-ELECTRIC BUSES

MADISON, WI. - You are invited to join Mayor Dave Cieslewicz, UW-Madison Chancellor John Wiley and Metro Transit General Manager Chuck Kamp at a news conference unveiling the first hybrid-electric public transit buses in the State of Wisconsin.

The news conference will take place at 12:15 PM on Tuesday, September 11 at the UW Arboretum Visitor Center, 2880 Longenecker Dr. in Madison. Note: To access the news conference, please use the Seminole Highway entrance.

All five hybrid-electric buses will be on display and officials from GM and Detroit Diesel-Allison will be available to answer questions.
