There will be no refuse or recycling collection in the City of Madison on Tuesday December 25th or Tuesday January 1st because of the Christmas and New Years holidays.
If your trash is normally collected on Tuesday your material will be collected on Wednesday December 26th and Wednesday January 2nd.

Residents should be sure to get their material out to the curb on time as Street Division crews will be collecting in both the Tuesday and Wednesday refuse districts on December 26th and January 2nd. East side residents should have their material out at the curb by 6 a.m. and west side residents by 7 a.m.

Because of the double collection, large item collection will be reduced. Residents are asked to hold on to large items until after the holidays if possible.

The Streets Division's offices and drop off sites will also be closed on December 25th and January 1st.
