Beginning Monday, August 15th at 7:00 a.m., Volkmann Railroad Builders will close Milwaukee Street in order to repair the railroad crossing between St Paul Avenue and North Bryan Street. 
 
A signed detour will be in place for eastbound traffic: East Washington Avenue to Aberg Avenue to North Fair Oaks Avenue to Milwaukee Street and vice versa for westbound traffic.  A map showing this detour is included. 
 
Metro Transit will detour three routes.  The detour is shown here:

The closure is expected to last until the end of the work day on Friday, August 19th.
