The Madison Police Department continues to work with our city, county, state and federal partners to provide you with the most up-to-date information as it pertains to the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

As we strive to maintain a healthy department to serve the Madison community, we will be following guidelines set forth by Public Health Madison and Dane County.  Effective immediately, we will be suspending the following public services:

• Civilian Ride-Alongs
• Public fingerprinting services provided by MPD Records
• Public tours of our facilities
• Restricted use of district community rooms
• MPD sponsored community outreach events and gatherings to include:
  • CRASE Trainings
  • Good Neighbor Project Events
  • Coffee With a Cop Events
