Earth Day Challenge Rescheduled
Due to the recent snow event, the current ground conditions are not conducive to completing most volunteer activities for the Earth Day Challenge. Madison Parks’ will host the Earth Day Challenge one week later, on Saturday, April 28.
Madison Parks relies on volunteers throughout the year, and in particular each spring to assist in cleaning up many of our parks. Volunteers for the Earth Day Challenge, assist in picking up trash, raking, weeding and removing invasive plants. This event draws more than 900 participants each year at nearly 30 parks.
We hope you can join us on this new date of Saturday, April 28 from 10am to 12pm. Registration will remain open through Wednesday, April 25. If you are currently registered for April 21, your name will automatically be moved to the new date. If you are no longer able to participate, please use the link provided in our confirmation email or email thartley@cityofmadison.com
