Dane County Narcotics & Gang Task Force

The Dane County Narcotics and Gang Task Force, along with agents from the U.S. Department of Justice, and the Drug Enforcement Administration executed a search warrant at a Madison residence, 1120 Gammon Lane, on September 24, 2008.

The team effort was the culmination of an ongoing drug investigation.

Seized from the residence was: 155.6 grams of crack cocaine, 2.6 grams of heroin, and over $4000 in cash.

Jeffrey D. Robinson, age 40, Madison, and Timothy D. Robinson, age 28, Madison, were both arrested on federal drug conspiracy charges.

A day earlier, on September 23, 2008, the Dane County Narcotics and Gang Task Force, in a separate investigation, followed up on a tip of drug activity at the King's Inn Motel, 915 W. Beltline Hwy.

This resulted in the arrest of Jesse O. Stephens, age 32. He had been residing in Room 154. It was there that 49.3 grams of crack cocaine, $3700 in cash, and a loaded .380 handgun were found.

Mr. Stephens was arrested on a Probation Hold, and his case is being referred to the U.S. Attorney's Office in Madison. Federal drug and gun charges are possible.
