Beginning Monday, August 22nd at 7:00 a.m., Payne and Dolan will begin asphalt resurfacing of Gammon Road between Moraine View Drive and just north of Schroeder Road.  On Monday and Tuesday, both directions of traffic on Gammon Road will be in the current southbound lanes while the northbound lanes are being repaved.  There will be no access between Gammon Road and Schroeder Road.  A signed detour will be in place which will include Watts Road and Struck Street (see attached map). 
 
On Wednesday, traffic will switch to the northbound lanes of Gammon Road while the southbound lanes are being paved.  During this time, right turns will be allowed from northbound Gammon Road to Schroeder Road and right turns will also be allowed from Schroeder Road to northbound Gammon Road.  Left turns at the intersection will be restricted.   
 
Traffic will return to normal on Friday, August 26th. 
 
As with all road construction, the schedule is weather-dependent.  Rain will cause delays in the schedule.
