The City-County Building, located at 210 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Madison, Wis., will be closed to the public until further notice starting April 20, 2020. The building is being closed to support social distancing and response to COVID-19.

The building will be closed to the public, with exception of phone appointments and arrangements with the Clerk’s Office for legal communications.

Residents and customers may drop off payments and communications that cannot be provided to the City electronically or by mail.

The City County Building drop box is located at the Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. entrance. From the corner of Doty St. and Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, proceed approximately 60 feet to the ramp of the City County Building. At the top of the ramp, proceed approximately 50 feet to the far left end of the bank of entrance doors to access the drop box.

The Madison Municipal Building drop box is located at the Doty St. entrance to the building, approximately 50 feet from the corner of Martin Luther King Jr Blvd. and Doty St. The drop box is located on the left side of the Doty St. entrance sidewalk. Follow the railing for approximately 20 feet off of the main city sidewalk to the drop box.

The public should only use the drop box if U.S. mail, delivery, email or phone is not possible.

Please seal and clearly mark which City agency the item is for when dropping off the item in the drop box.
