Join the City of Madison, Madison Parks Forestry and the Madison Canopy Street Trees in an Arbor Week Celebration! April 30 – May 6, 2017 is proclaimed Arbor Week in the City of Madison.

On Friday, May 5, 2017 at 12:00pm we will honor Arbor Week and our 28-year designation as a Tree City USA with a tree planting, poetry reading and a performance of John Denver’s Trees for America by local musician Sean Michael Dargen.

The public is invited to attend this celebration, taking place at approximately 2043 Eastwood Drive, near the corner of Eastwood Dr. and Division St.

The Tree City USA designation, established by the Arbor Day Foundation and the National Association of State Foresters, shows our commitment to and celebration of our urban tree canopy.
