The event will conclude with a walk or complimentary haywagon ride to the Boys and Girls Club of Dane County for the Community Meal, sponsored by the Allied Drive Neighborhood Resource Team and Revival Pentecostal Church.

Allied Park was planned and designed in collaboration with the community with a focus on youth engagement. Throughout the summer of 2016, Parks staff attended neighborhood-related events and hosted listening-sessions with the youth and community at-large to gain input on the new park’s design.

This one-acre park features a full-sized basketball court, an open-sided reservable picnic shelter with a Wi-Fi “hotspot,” a playground, a drinking fountain, youth hoops and four square courts.
