All City of Madison of Madison streets will be plowed. The operation will begin around midnight this evening when the storm is expected to come to an end.  Citywide plowing takes approximately 12 to 14 hours to complete, so the this initial plowing should conclude sometime in the afternoon of Sunday, January 29, 2023 with additional clean-up operations to follow.

A snow emergency will not be in effect for this evening.

Please choose off-street parking options tonight to help with plowing operations. By choosing off-street parking options, you help prevent future snow emergency declarations by creating open lanes of travel for plows where they can push all of the snow from the road and to the curb without needing to return at a later date.

Remember, if you do not park within the Snow Emergency Zone, you must follow alternate side parking rules each night regardless of weather conditions.
