The Madison Parks Staff will begin taking reservations for the 2009 season for the popular Madison Park shelter, beginning October 15 at 8:00a.m.

Reservations made at this time are first come, first serve. There are many large-scale returning special events that have scheduling priority. Those dates and locations will be posted on the Madison Parks website on Monday, October 6.

The City-County Building doors open at 5:00a.m. Pre-numbered reservation sheets will be located in the building lobby. The Parks Office doors open at 8:00a.m. Phone-in reservations will begin at 8:15 a.m.

Parks staff highly recommends that anyone wishing to host an event in 2009 in the Madison Park Shelters, particularly Olin Park Shelter and Warner Park Shelter, have advanced reservations.

Special note: Tenney Park Shelter will not be available for rental in all of 2009 due to demolition and subsequent shelter reconstruction.
