Madison residents can download their 2007 recycling collection calendars on line at www.cityofmadison.com/streets. The calendars will highlight their 2007 collection dates and show changes in the collection schedule due to holidays.

“The calendars are also going to be mailed to all of our customers in late December along with a new edition of the Recyclopedia,” Madison recycling coordinator George Dreckmann said. “Since the calendars are also posted on line, we wanted to make them available right away.”

Residents can also download a copy of the 2007 Recyclopedia on line.

“The Streets Division is committed to making as much information available electronically as we can,” Dreckmann said. “In addition to complete information on all of our services, residents can download a detailed brochure on how to handle cardboard and they can sign up to receive an e-mail whenever we declare a snow emergency.”
