Heritage Sanctuary is an excellent example of an oak woodland that provides habitat for various wildlife, and an oasis of spring flowers in suburban surroundings. Garlic mustard grows rapidly and invades the natural wildflower population. Parks staff will be on hand to provide instruction on pulling garlic mustard and garbage bags. Please bring garden gloves and a dandelion puller (optional), and dress for the weather. Contact Paul Quinlan at pquinlan@cityofmadison.com or 267-4918 for more information.
