Science and religion are unquestionably two of the most potent forces that have shaped – and continue to shape – human civilization. How have these two powerful forces interacted over time? This course’s approach to the issue is both historical and philosophical. We will probe the very nature of science and religion. This Great Course is presented by Professor Lawrence M. Principe, a Professor of History of Science, Medicine and Technology, and Professor of Chemistry, at the Johns Hopkins University. The course will be facilitated by James Lamal. Fee: a $10 donation is recommended.
