Members of the armed forces constitute over 10% of Madison Fire Department staff. The MFD’s camaraderie, values, and physical lifestyle mirror that of a service member.

We welcome and encourage military service personnel to attend this open house, where firefighters will be on hand to answer questions about the recruitment and hiring process, give tours of the vehicles and stations, and provide information about what a career with the Fire Department is like -- just in time for our fall hiring process!
