Learning much of our family’s history used to occur through storytelling, but as the times have changed this happens, less and less. Learn about a new program called “LifeMapping” that will give you the tools you need to record and save those stories for your children and grandchildren.

Dean Olsen of UW-Madison’s Department of Geography will introduce a new life mapping project, done on the computer. LifeMapping will help you organize and then share the important events and stories of your life by pinning them, along with photos and even music, to where they happened. Because everything happened somewhere, a map is a powerful organizer of your history and path through life. Hear the presentation and sign up to become a test user of the program, free of charge.
