In collaboration with Madison Opera’s April 25-27 production of Jake Heggie’s Dead Man Walking, we’ll be screening a series of related films in March and April. Tonight we're showing Tim Robbin's film Dead Man Walking. It tells the story of convicted killer Matthew Poncelet and Sister Helen Prejean, his spiritual advisor, and the journey they undertake in search of the truth, as Poncelet faces the death penalty. Starring Susan Sarandon and Sean Penn.
