The Madison Early Music Festival (MEMF) presents Slavic Discoveries: Early Music from Eastern Europe - a musical journey through Balkan, Slavic, and Eurasian lands. MEMF takes place from July 11-18 and includes public concerts, special events, and lectures on the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus. Concerts will feature a great variety of sacred and secular music performed by world-renowned ensembles.

This is a rare opportunity to hear music and learn about culture from Eastern Europe during the 13th-18th centuries. The Madison Early Music Festival is internationally recognized as a top early music festival that features music from Medieval, Renaissance, and Baroque eras from award winning performers and distinguished faculty. Unique to MEMF is the culminating All-Festival Concert, which features participants performing together on stage with faculty.
