Brantley will share demonstrations and teach sculpting techniques as attendees observe and participants work to create their own figurative sculpture.

Austen Brantley is a self-taught ceramic sculptor whose work depicts the emotional content of the human figure. Influenced by African art, his work is a contemporary interpretation of classical sculpture, highlighting the beauty of the human experience and reflecting moments of introspection, self-awareness, and expanding consciousness.

Sculpting Participants $15 fee: One bag of clay and studio tools are provided. Please feel free to bring personal tools if desired. Any work that is intended to be kept can be bisque fired as a part of the workshop. Glaze firing is not included.
