Lift the Mask is Canopy Center’s annual fundraising event. The semi-formal masquerade ball will feature live entertainment, hearty hors d'oeuvres, a silent auction, raffle and great company. At Canopy Center we work with courageous people every day as we help strengthen families to prevent abuse and treat the effects of child sexual abuse. Today, the Canopy Center serves over 3,000 people annually through four programs — the Families United Network parent and child support program, the Oasis family sexual abuse treatment program, the Family Sexual Abuse Treatment program and the Parent Stressline listening and referral service.

Canopy Center Canopy Center is a child abuse treatment and prevention agency which was created in 1977 by a young mother. She had been abused as a child and the impact this abuse was having on her own parenting methods led her to bring a national parent support group model to Madison. While most child abuse was addressed by removing children from their families or ignoring abuse until it became more serious or fatal, this method worked to strengthen the family unit and address the long-term effects of child abuse. Today, the Canopy Center serves over 4,000 people annually through four programs — the Families United Network parent and child support program, the Oasis family sexual abuse treatment program, the Family Sexual Abuse Treatment program and the Parent Stressline listening and referral service. You can find out more about each of the programs here. Canopy Center, Inc. is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, incorporated in the State of Wisconsin in 1977. The agency serves Dane County and is located in Madison, Wisconsin at 1457 E. Washington Avenue, Suite 102. Lift the Mask WebsiteEastCommunity
