Learn to Stand Up Paddleboard (5/27 update: this event is FULL and there is a waiting list.)
 
With summer right around the corner what better time than now to “Learn to Stand Up Paddleboard” with Madison Parks and Rutabaga Paddlesports! This exciting workshop is part of the summer 2016 “Learn to” series, which focuses on providing FREE, introductory-level instruction of different recreation opportunities available to Madison area residents in their communities. 

Rutabaga Paddlesports will lead the “Learn to Stand Up Paddleboard” workshop on Tuesday, June 14 from 6:00-7:30pm at Olbich Park - 3301 Atwood Ave.
Beginners will learn basic information about equipment and proper technique. After a few demonstrations, participants will have a chance to practice their new skills!
 
All ages and experience levels are welcome to participate, This event is free to attend; however, due to the popularity of the program we are asking those interested in attending to register by calling our Madison Parks Office at (608) 266-4711 to be placed on the waiting list.
